The Star) JELAPANG assemblyman Hee Yit Foong who quit DAP to become an independent assemblyman “friendly” to Barisan Nasional has been told to vacate a rented shoplot which she used as her service centre in the constituency, reported Sin Chew Daily.
The shopowner, known only as Mani, said he was afraid residents would vent their frustration by damaging the premises due to Hee’s defection from the DAP.
Mani, who operates a barber shop, shared half the premises with Hee.
He was quoted as saying: “Hee, please remove the signboards and all your belongings. I do not want to rent you the premises any more.
“Lately, many residents have come to me asking about her whereabouts. I feel irritated. That’s one of the reasons I decided not to rent her the premises anymore,” he said.
According to Mani, Hee rented the premises in December last year for RM320 a month. She paid two months rental in advance, and a RM200 electricity deposit.
Ordering Hee to remove all her computers, tables and chairs by March, Mani hoped she would contact him soon to settle the problems “once and for all.”
Sin Chew reported that the last time Hee appeared at the centre was on Jan 22 when she gave out goodies to the elderly in conjunction with Chinese New Year.
Traitor Hee does not need to rent a shop anymore, she can now afford to buy at least 50 commercial shop lots. Thanks to the Rakyat's money given by Najib.
